Parent Testimonials
What families are saying
“I truly feel my son is safe and well cared for. I feel heard, included in treatment decisions, and treated like a person rather than just another patient number, which was very different from our experience at a larger ABA center. Communication is never an issue here, which is refreshing. My son has made incredible strides and genuinely enjoys coming each day. The intake process was simple and they walked me through everything step by step.”
“The team at Spectrum Roots truly feels like an extension of our family. They communicate with me every week, answer the phone whenever I call with a question, and keep me informed about every session. I never feel left in the dark; they treat us like people, not just clients. I love it here.”

What is EIDBI?
EIDBI stands for Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention — a Minnesota Medicaid benefit that funds evidence-based autism therapy for children ages 2 to 13.
In plain words: it's how Minnesota families access high-quality, individualized autism services like ABA, speech, and occupational therapy — often at no cost when covered by Medical Assistance.
Personalized to your child
Every plan is built around your child's strengths, interests, and goals — not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Family-centered
Parents and caregivers are part of the team. We provide training and support so progress carries over at home.
Covered by Medical Assistance
EIDBI is a Minnesota Medicaid benefit. For families with MA, services are typically covered at no out-of-pocket cost.
Is my child eligible?
To qualify for EIDBI services in Minnesota, your child generally needs:
- Under 21 years old
- Autism Spectrum Disorder or related condition
- Comprehensive multi-disciplinary evaluation (CMDE)
- Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA) coverage
Not sure? That's okay. We'll walk you through eligibility and help coordinate the evaluation if you don't have one yet. Call us at (612) 512-9600.
Insurance & funding
We handle the paperwork.
Insurance shouldn't stand between your child and care. Our team verifies benefits, secures authorizations, and walks you through every step — so you can focus on your child.
Benefits verification
We confirm your coverage, deductible, and out‑of‑pocket — usually within 1 business day, at no cost to you.
Pre‑authorization
We coordinate the assessments and submissions so therapy can start without unnecessary delays.
EIDBI & Medicaid
Approved EIDBI provider — we'll guide your family through Minnesota's funding pathway step by step.
Family advocacy
Confused by a denial or claim? Our care coordinators advocate on your behalf, every step of the way.
Insurance We Accept
We work with major Minnesota insurance providers
